Case Study 2
When
we asked to meet a team of archaeologists on a site to help them solve the
problem of breaking out a slab below ground level behind and between two
buildings with a metal staircase as the only form of access, our first thoughts
were BROKK; with this in mind off we trotted. Once on the job we sat down
and thrashed ideas at the team until we came up with the solution.
We
arranged for our BROKK 180 to arrive on site after the stairs had been back
propped and made safe, then the 180 crawled down the stairs to the basement,
on arrival there it went straight to work breaking out the slab.
As
the job progressed the archaeologists had to be on hand to bag up the spoils
ready for inspection and so a firm but careful hand was needed to complete
the task.
T
he
operation ran like clockwork and we left our artefact finding friends to
do their duty.
