Diamond Drilling
Forming a New Reception Area
The images shown here are of a particularly awkward contract undertaken close to the main offices of a local council authority, conventional demolition of the concrete was not an option and so with close liaison with all parties a method of diamond stitch drilling and hydraulic bursting was adopted.
The
first job is to get neat and accurate stitched drilled lines to the exact
required depths.
Then
working from inside out simultaneously with the on going outside works we
formed a new entrance slot ready for the wall to receive the new door.
Due
to the levels of the concrete being different the client required a new
flight of stairs in order that the basement may be reached, they asked us
to help out by sculpting the shape of the new flight, which for our experienced
team was no problem at all.
